In 2008 while serving as a deputy headteacher of a primary school in Morobe Province K63,453.00 school subsidy was used for drinking, womanising and unnecessary spending by the schools headteacher and board chairman .

With the help of the simple villagers and school children, we removed the head teacher out but he chanllenge this removal in court but lost terribly.

The provincial education officials supported him because he has bribed them with part of the subsidy and as a result they penalised me by displacing me. I was so vocal against corruption.

Papua New Guinea Government departments are so corrupt including the Majority Parliamentarians. I was penalised falsely by corrupt people in Power but thank God that I was doing it correctly by giving me another job.

Currently I am a strong corruption advocate in my new job.

The misuse of school subsidy was refered for fraud investigation but nothing has happen to date. What a great waste of public funds?

Hi Mayambo Peipul. I got your address from Act Now. I have sent a copy to Act Now This email shows that the reward for corruption is promotion. I was involved in a dispute on behalf of my wife relating to the boundaries of a Mining Lease on Mt Kaindi nr Wau. The facts are 1 There is an original mining survey document on record from the time of expatriate Mining Wardens. 2 This shows the location of a lease adjoining my wife's lease in relation to a star picket. 3 This lease was relocated in relation to this star picket from 30m 10 Deg NTH to about 30m +/-10Deg STH. The lease was moved about 60m STH and all dimensions altered. 4 Under the Mining Lease Conversion of 1994 the resurvey of all leases had to follow the earliest available surveys, otherwise the lease could be revoked. 5 This was an Australian funded program that cost millions. As far as I am concerned that entire project is flawed 6 When I complained to Arman & Larmer, surveyors, they were quite tough. They told me that they had no need to follow the original survey because they had a more recent survey that was adopted. 7 The surveyor was Sam Kodawara, the Mining Dept surveyor at that time and now the Surveyor General of Papua New Guinea, previously a surveyor with the Morobe Province. 8 This survey also removed 60m X 100m from Kaindi Golden Ridges lease. Copies of the original surveys and copies of the now approved surveys are available. Legal complaints were made at the time to both the surveyor and Ms Nellie James. Promises by her were made to have a private surveyor adjudicate the matter. This never happened and I had no money to run a case against the Mining dept.

To the anonymous former Morobe headteacher; you have done amazingly well in fighting the scourge of corruption that demeans us all. We need more people like yourself in public service who can stand up to the corruption that they see everywhere around them. Secondly why not lodge your complaint about the slow investigation of the misuse of school subsidies with ALAC, your complaint will be confidential at all times and you can have us pushing your complaint for you. So do contact me, my email address is alacpng@gmail.com and you can call us on 3403202 or tollfree bemobile hotline 76014635. Its only when good people like you speak out that evil will be defeated!
